Chad J. Phillips
Chad Phillips is a graphic and motion designer based in Los Angeles, working across identity, editorial, environmental, and time-based media. His practice centers around visual storytelling, conceptual clarity, and a deep curiosity about how design can shape space, memory, and connection.
A recent graduate of Cal State Fullerton’s BFA Design program, Chad has contributed to projects spanning student media, university branding, and small studio collaborations. He’s worked as a motion designer for Titan TV, supported design for the CSUF business department, and co-founded Good Images, a small collective exploring experimental and client-based design work.
His approach values collaboration, experimentation, and an intuitive sense of rhythm—whether in typography, movement, or layout. He's especially interested in projects that blur the boundaries between print and screen, physical and digital, personal and public.
When not designing, he’s usually flipping through old design annuals, playing guitar, or organizing his hard drives (again).
Currently open to freelance, full-time opportunities, and creative collaborations.
